Oceans!

I know. I know. Two blogs in the same day. Get excited.

I was feeling housebound so we decided to try a movie today. It bordered on being almost too much for my body, but we made it.

You know that we see quite a few movies. I rarely endorse one unless it is worthwhile for the entire family.

Well, if you get a chance to see Disney's Oceans movie it is well worth it. Incredible cinematography. Rated G (although there are smaller fishes and mammals that get eaten by the larger ones). It came out on Earth Day and I guess we can only hope that the countries of the world will stop dumping millions of tons of trash into them. There is my Green message for the day.

Check it out . . .

Easter Weekend 2010

Knowing that it might be a little while before we get back to St. George, we spent the Easter weekend in God's Country. We enjoyed General Conference and took some excursions to Zion's as we could. I went alone on one trip to hike the Observation Trail (a little much for Patty). It was glorious!

The falls coming into the Upper Emerald Pool.

A couple of reasonably nice shots of the falls at Lower.

Court of the Patriarchs

Picturesque view of the Checkerboard Mesa

I was the first person up to the Observation Point area. Very serene and inspiring.

We had a little Easter celebration in our backyard with Kiara and Jaycee. It's OK if Grandpa helps with the hunt, right?
